D3 Frost Wizard Build
So here’s the build I’m using in Inferno.
Stats(Unbuffed)

Aaaand the skills

Works like this: Cast Blizzard infront of the enemies, and cast Hydra somewhere near the group. Blizzard chills enemies and with Cold Blooded you get that 20% extra damage, and while they’re trying to get to you they’re walking through ice and poison. Ray of Frost is for single target damage in case you need to target an extra health enemy or bosses. Most of the damage comes from Blizzard + Hydra and this lets you kite around, as long as you have room to do it. Ray of Frost pretty much melts(or chills?) normal mobs and minions. You can switch to the Snow Blast rune for more damage as long as you can keep casting for 1.5 secs without getting killed xD, so use this if you need even more single target damage.
Diamond Skin so in case something pulls me, jails me or simply gets close I can survive to make my escape, Teleport with Fracture so I can get out of danger and since I have 2 decoys with the rune I have more chances to survive close encounters. Energy Armor with the Prismatic Armor runes because it’s simply awesome, 65% more armor and 40% resists? Yes please :D.
Passives:
Glass Canon: Moar damage! That’s basically it, it does lower your resistances but Prismatic Armor takes care of that
Cold Blooded: Moar frosty damage! This makes your Blizzard and Ray of Frost deal 20% more damage
Astral Presence: This along with the runes in Blizzard and Ray allows me to spam those abilities without running out of arcane power, as long as I don’t get Blizzard happy. I can stand and cast Ray of Frost without my arcane power dropping too low.
I’ve been running this build since late Nightmare and it got me through Hell easily, I made some changes along the way to 60 and I ended up choosing the current skills as my final ones. I can pretty much kill all elite, champ packs and bosses in Act 1 Inferno, you will still have problem with Fast packs, Blizzard and Ray doesn’t seem to slow them enough, but I found that using Diamond Skin and going into tower mode(basically stand there and tank the damage with DS and casting Hydra and Blizzard around the enemies) helps in these cases, you can do some damage before skin runs out and you start kiting again.
For followers I go with Templar if I need a meat shield or Scoundrel if I need more crit chance %. Mine’s kinda low, around 15% since I haven’t focused on getting it on my gear.
